POLICY STATEMENT

Redman Institute the training division of Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd, its Directors and employees are comitted to the principles of the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth). All steps are taken to ensure that any personal information collected is protected from unauthorised use.

Collection of Personal Information
Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd recognises the importance of your privacy and understands any concerns in regard to the security of personal information. Accordingly, we are committed to protecting the personal information that we hold about you.
Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd only collects information about you that is necessary for us to perform the services you request from us. The kinds of personal information we collect and hold will depend upon the services you request from us which may include:
• Information you provide when registering for a course which will include your name, address and contact details;
• Communications between Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd and you;
• Information required under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations or by law.

Use of Personal Information
We respect your privacy. Any personal information which we collect and hold about you will only be used and disclosed by us so that we can provide you with the services you have requested, or otherwise to enable us to carry out our functions as a Registered Training Organisation. We may also use your personal information to provide you with information about other services offered by us. If you would prefer not to receive this information please let us know and we will respect your request.

Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd may disclose your personal information to external service providers (ie contracted trainers) but only so that they can provide the services that we have contracted them to complete in relationship to the services that you have requested us to provide to you.
In all other circumstances, your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party without us having firstly received your written consent to make such disclosure.

Access to your Personal Information
All requests for access to your personal information must be directed in writing to:

Access to your personal information may be with-held for the following reasons:
• Contributes to an unlawful act
• Would have unreasonable impact on other people’s privacy.

If access is refused Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd will provide details for refusing access in writing.
Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd will on request from you, amend any personal information about you, held by us, which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Should we disagree with you about the accuracy, completeness or currency of this information and you request us to, we will attach to your record a statement advising of your contrary view.

Standard Code of Practice
This Code of Practice is to be read in conjunction with the Redman Enterprises Pty Ltd Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Procedures. It relates specifically to the training and assessment services provided by Redman Enterprises that fit within the National Framework and details the standards by which we operate as an RTO.

Marketing
All our marketing and advertising to prospective clients is ethical and accurate. Advertising material will clearly communicate the registration status of Redman Enterprises with qualifications only advertised for those courses we are registered to deliver .• Courses which carry recognition, other than under the National framework, will be clearly described to avoid any confusion. Acknowledgements of accreditation will follow the approved format, as will the use of logos.

Finances and Client Records
Redman Enterprises ensures that before you enrol, you are aware of all the costs and charges you will incur throughout your course. Redman Enterorises has a your academic, financial and other records are complete, accurate and confidential. At any time, you are invited to view your own records.

Access, Equity and our Obligations
Redman Enterprises is committed to the principles of access and equity and will not unlawfully discriminate. Our staff follows policies and procedures to ensure you are treated fairty and receive all reasonable assistance to successfully complete your course. At all times we are concerned to protect your health, safety and welfare and create a positive learning environment free from discrimination or harassment We will deal fairly and constructively with your concerns and complaints about our services.

Occupational Health & Safety
All Redman Enterprises training and assessment services are conducted in a safe and healthy environment. Compliance to relevant OH&S legislation is incorporated into all R!!dman Enterprises training and assessment activities.

Industry Relevance
Redman Enterprises is involved with and regularly consults with and to industry and industry organisations. This ensures that we stay up to date and aware of industry needs when developing and evaluating our training and assessment. Our graduates are recognised as industry ready and their skills and competencies are acknowledged by industry, meeting the high standard of performance required in the workplace. When training or assessment occurs in a workplace, evidence of performance will contribute to our assessments. Our teaching and assessment staff work with and at times within industry which ensures their knowledge and skills reflect current and best industry practice.

Quality of Training & Assessment
Redman Enterprises provides competent, qualified facilitators for program delivery. Facilitators hold nationally-recognised qualifications and maintain competence in the subjects they deliver. Redman Enterprises assures the quality of training and assessment it provides and is committed to continuously improving the services it offers. To achieve improvement in our services, we regularty seek feedback from our learners.

Redman Enterprises is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which is authorised under legislation to offer nationally recognised training. We ensure that at all times our operations comply with relevant legislation and the national registration standards.

Assessment of Current Skills and Knowledge
If you think you already have the skills required for part or full accreditation of a qualification you may apply to be assessed through the Recognition of Prior Learning or current competency process. You may request to have parts or all of other training courses/modules credited to your current qualification.

Redman Enterprises delivers customised training to groups and individuals. Information based sessions are conducted in our training rooms, at client sites or via distance learning using a variety of aids and styles.

Learning Guides, Record Books and relevant texts are provided during programs as resource and reference material. Learners are encouraged to learn at their own pace and reasonable and flexible assistance is provided where necessary to accommodate special needs.
